On the heels of Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Waukesha and Pewaukee, Opportunity Wisconsin is hosting a virtual conversation with Wisconsin State Representative Greta Neubauer, Opportunity Wisconsin steering committee member and Racine Alderman Trevor Jung, and Yolonda 'Yogi' Blair, owner of Yogi’s Pud’n, to shine a light on the Trump Administration’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the real impact it's having on Badger State residents.
It’s been 115 days since President Trump said we’d soon have zero cases in the U.S. We now have 2.3 million cases and more than 122,000 deaths. This health and economic crisis didn’t have to be this bad. As Wisconsin reopens, deaths rise, and aid is slow to arrive, the Trump administration has failed to prepare us, botched the response, and has favored corporations each step of the way. This crisis isn't over, people are still getting sick (and worse), and vulnerable populations are still at tremendous risk.
